General Safari Information

Absolutely. We welcome hunters of all experience levels. Our professional hunters are skilled teachers who prioritize safety, ethics, and creating a rewarding experience, whether it's your first safari or your fiftieth.

Yes. We warmly welcome non-hunting spouses, partners, and observers. Our lodge offers comfort and relaxation, and we can arrange curated day experiences such as nature drives, fishing and local cultural visits.

Hunting & Species

We primarily use walk-and-stalk or spot-and-stalk methods, adhering to fair-chase ethics. The terrain and species dictate the approach, always ensuring a challenging and respectful hunt.

We offer a wide variety of plains game (e.g., kudu, gemsbok, springbok, wildebeest) and dangerous game (including buffalo). A full species list with current availability and pricing is provided in our official price list.

Yes, most safaris are combination hunts. Your professional hunter will help design a hunt plan based on your interests, timeframe, and the ecology of the area.

Success rates are very high for plains game, given the quality and density of game on our concessions. For dangerous game, success depends on many factors; we focus on offering a quality pursuit and a fair opportunity on mature animals.

Travel & Logistics

Most international guests fly to OR Tambo Airport (JNB) in Johannesburg. From there, you can take a connecting commercial flight to Kimberley (approx. 1.5 hours), where we'll meet you for a private transfer (approx. 1h20m drive). Alternatively, private charter flights directly to our lodge airstrip can be arranged from OR Tambo Airport.

We guide you through the entire process. South Africa requires a temporary firearm import permit (SAPS 520) and we connect you with trusted permit-handling specialists.

We'll send you a detailed packing list upon booking. Essentials include: neutral-coloured hunting clothing, broken-in boots, a good hat, sunscreen, binoculars, and any personal medications. Rifles and ammunition can be rented if preferred.

The Northern Cape has a semi-arid climate. Days are typically warm to hot, with cooler mornings and evenings. Winter (May–Aug) can be cold at night. Summer (Nov–Feb) is hot. Layered clothing is recommended year-round.

Our lodge features 10 luxury en-suite rooms with air conditioning, 24/7 solar-powered electricity, Wi-Fi, a bar and lounge, a traditional boma (firepit area), and picturesque views. Laundry service is included daily.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available at the lodge, though connectivity may be limited in remote parts of the concession.
